History Made by Mokgalaka Keitumetse in Picture Reading

Selwana Primary School is overjoyed to celebrate the extraordinary achievement of Mokgalaka Keitumetse, a Grade R learner who made history by scoring a record-breaking 54 points to win first place in the Picture Reading category at the Circuit-Level Reading Competition, hosted at Fauna Park Primary School.

Keitumetse’s performance amazed the judges with her confidence, sharp observation, and exceptional ability to interpret and narrate details from the pictures. Her remarkable score not only secured the top position but also set a new record for the competition, marking a proud moment in the school’s history.
