Selwana Primary Learners Shine at Gravellote Competitions

Selwana Primary School continues to raise its flag high after outstanding performances by its learners at the competitions held in Gravellote on the 20th of August 2025.

Mongwe Nhlulo (Grade 3) obtained position 2 in the Reading Aloud category.

Mokgalaka Omphile (Grade 3) proudly secured position 1 in the Creative Writing category.

Monyela Mmakgaudi (Grade 1) achieved position 1 in the Creative Writing category.

These remarkable achievements have earned them the honor of representing the Phalaborwa Cluster at the next stage of the competition, which will take place in Giyani on the 27th of August 2025.

In recognition of their hard work and excellence, teachers at Selwana Primary celebrated the learners during the school assembly on the 25th of August 2025, where they were awarded cash prizes and gifts as motivation to keep striving for greatness.

The school community is proud of their achievements and wishes them the very best as they prepare to shine on the bigger stage in Giyani.
